Love local, get vocal and help shape your Local Board Plan 2020
The Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board has developed a three-year plan outlining the key initiatives we want to focus on to help our communities thrive and support the recovery from the impacts of COVID-19. Now we need your help to check if we’ve got it right.
Our plan has six key outcomes:
A confident and sustainable local economy (page 11 of plan)
We are building well connected, engaged and active communities (page 14)
Protecting our environment and heritage for future generations (page 19)
Celebrating our unique Tangata Whenua and Pasifika identities (page 22)
Our children and young people grow and succeed (page 25)
We thrive and belong in safe, healthy communities (page 28)
Have a look at the plan for more details of what we will do to deliver on these outcomes and take the survey to tell us what's most important and what's missing.
Our 2020 Local Board Plan proposals are open for feedback until Thursday 13 August.
So love local and get vocal about your community by having your say. We'd love to hear from you.
