Thanks for your question.
There is a maintenance and renewal programme for Papakura which includes maintenance of open spaces and we encourage you to report the issue so Auckland Council is aware of the street/footpath you are referring to.
You can report the maintenance problem by phoning 09 301 0101 or online via the myAUCKLAND dashboard aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/report-it where you can track the progress of the problem.
We also acknowledge your concerns around the water restrictions and Watercare are undertaking a number of projects that once completed will deliver an extra 30 million litres of water a day to Auckland. For more information please visit watercare.co.nz.

Share Advocate to Auckland Transport (AT) for improved pathway safety, including lighting and accessibility. The Mill/Alfriston Road interchange has been on the work programme for AT/Papakura Local Board for the last 25 years. I have attended various public mtgs during that time. Huge blocks of land have been purchased around Alfriston for housing and pathways to the local primary school are still non existent. This needs to be addressed as the quarry truck and trailer movements have increased expediently, along with the commuter traffic. on Facebook Share Advocate to Auckland Transport (AT) for improved pathway safety, including lighting and accessibility. Thank you for your question.
The Supporting Growth site was recently launched by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and Auckland Transport to inform and involve the public in the planned growth and changes to Southern Auckland over the next 30 years.
There are two interactive pages on Mill Road where you can make comments on the proposals.
